Pete Davidson Details the “Wow” Moment He Met Pregnant Girlfriend Elsie Hewitt

Pete Davidson is looking back on his meet cute.

The Saturday Night Live alum gave rare insight into his relationship with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt—who is pregnant with their first baby—including the sweet story of how first crossed paths.

“We both met through mutual friends who were just like, ‘You guys should meet,’ and then we met,” Pete, 31, exclusively told E! News at the premiere of The Home on July 22. “We weren’t really looking for anything and we immediately were just like, ‘Oh, wow.'”

As for what makes their relationship so special?

“I would say she’s female me and I’m male her,” he explained. “We just laugh all day.”

While they didn’t go Instagram official until March, Pete noted that it was “very apparent” that he and the model were meant to be when they met. As he put it, “She’s the best.”

Now, the couple is expecting a child together, which Elsie, 29, announced through an Instagram post July 16. She comedically captioned the announcement post, which featured an ultrasound photo and a video from a doctor’s visit, “welp now everyone knows we had sex.”
