Marjorie Taylor Greene says she received pipe bomb rhreat: What we know
Marjorie Taylor Greene said she received a pipe bomb threat against her construction company’s office building in the wake of her break with U.S. President Donald Trump.
“The hoax pizza deliveries have started now, to my house and my family members,” the Georgia representative said in a post on X on Sunday. “Update: we also received a pipe bomb threat on my construction companies office building.”
“President Trump’s unwarranted and vicious attacks against me were a dog whistle to dangerous radicals that could lead to serious attacks on me and my family,” she added.
It comes after Trump said in a Truth Social post on Friday that he was withdrawing his endorsement of Greene. “I am withdrawing my support and endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the great state of Georgia,” he wrote.
He described her as “wacky” and a “lunatic,” saying all she does is “complain,” with other MAGA figures, including conservative host Mark Levin and activist Laura Loomer, calling Greene a “traitor.”
The rift between Greene and Trump has developing for a while now, namely over their disagreements on foreign policy, mostly Israel, and the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
This is a developing story – more to follow.
