Longhorns’ SEC opponents and sites set for next four seasons

AUSTIN (KXAN) — As expected, the SEC announced that Texas’ four permanent conference opponents going forward will be Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Arkansas. The conference announced that the opponents will be reevaluated every four years, but it seems unlikely these matchups will change for the Longhorns.

The conference also unveiled the teams opponents and where games will be played for the next four years as they move to a nine-game conference schedule in 2026. The schedule is set up so that schools will play every other school in the league at least every two years.

Texas will host Arkansas in back to back seasons when the Razorbacks come to Austin on November 22nd and then will return to Austin in 2026.

Dates for next year’s games will be announced in October.
