Andy Cohen confirms there is a ‘RHONY’ Season 16 cast at BravoCon, says ‘RHONJ’ is “Next”
Big news out of BravoCon this morning! Andy Cohen confirmed during this morning’s “Ask Andy” panel that they’ve finally decided on a cast for The Real Housewives of New York City.
Before you get too excited, Cohen did not reveal who would be in the cast, but he did say that filming for Season 16 will begin shortly. “We are gonna be filming in the next few months, so I’m very excited about that. More to come about that,” he told excited fans this morning.
This weekend, OG RHONY stars Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, and Carole Radziwill, along with RHONY newbies Erin Lichy, Sai De Silva, and Jessel Taank made the trip out to Las Vegas for BravoCon, prompting fans to believe the next season would be a mix of the show’s two generations.
However, Cohen shut down those rumors during his first “Ask Andy” panel on Friday (Nov. 14). “No, not true,” he told moderator Jeff Lewis.
While Cohen didn’t offer more details, he did share that he feels “so good about the group” they found for the next season. The next item on Bravo’s checklist is figuring out what the heck is going on with The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
“Regarding Jersey, we will pick cameras back up. It’s coming back,” he shared this morning. “But we will do it when the time is right and when we feel great about it.”

Cohen reminded the audience that it took producers a minute to find the newest cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which added stars Shamea Morton, Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley, and brought back Porsha Williams for Season 16.
“I feel so good about that group and I feel so good about the group that we found for The Real Housewives of New York,” he said. “Jersey will be next. We want to get them right before rushing into it.”
