Mason Gooding To Star In Action Film ‘Last Resort’

EXCLUSIVE: Mason Gooding is set to star in action film Last Resort. Luis Prieto is directing the pic from script by Eric Champnella and Grant Thompson.

Thunder Road and Mike Gabrawy are producing. The pic is set in at a resort filled with college kids on spring break. When Cartel killers take over the resort, a 25 year old freshmen, former marine (Gooding), must overcome his crushing PTSD to save his friends and stay alive.

The film is currently Shooting in Spain.

Gooding most recently starred in the Screen Gems horror-romantic comedy Heart Eyes, which premiered on Valentine’s Day 2025. He will soon be seen in Gregg Araki’s I Want Your Sex opposite Olivia Wilde and Netflix’s 72 Hours alongside Kevin Hart. He is also known for his role in the Scream franchise, which returns for its seventh installment February 2026, and the acclaimed Hulu series Love, Victor. Gooding is represented by CAA, Untitled Entertainment and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
