Giants’ Cam Skattebo Suffers Gruesome Injury vs Eagles
The New York Giants took the field for a Week 8 rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
Midway through the second quarter, Giants running back Cam Skattebo suffered a gruesome right led injury on an attempted catch across the middle of the field.
The rookie ball carrier went down in some serious pain at Lincoln Financial Field. The injury was so bad that the Fox Sports broadcast declined to show a replay.
Giants medical staff stabilized Skattebo’s right led in a walking boot and carted him off the field. The 23-year-old running back got a standing ovation from the Eagles’ home crowd as he exited the stadium.
